Sunday 14 th May will see the inaugural Hardy Half marathon start and finish at
the clubhouse.

The race will start at 1000 and take in the spectacular views Maiden Castle and Hardys’ Monument.
There will be an event village in the club grounds which will provide entertainment, craft and food
stalls.
The race is a joint venture between Dorchester RIOT running club, Dorchester Lions, Dorchester
Rugby Football Club and Dorchester Casterbridge Rotary Club. All the money raised will go to local
charities and our main charity partner, Farming Community Network. We hope this event will be a
regular in the running and fund-raising calendar for years to come.
We look forward to welcoming you to the club for what will be a very enjoyable weekend all in the
aid of fundraising for local charities.
