A CARE provider has announced a local partnership with Dorchester Rugby Football Club (DRFC). As part of the new partnership, Care South will support the club at a grassroots level and become the title sponsor of its 150th anniversary ball.

DRFC offers players of all ages and abilities the opportunity to play rugby, and is a club based at the heart of the Dorchester community. Care South’s Maiden Castle House care home is located close to the grounds and Dorchester is a key area for Care South at Home, which operates across the county from its West Dorset offices in Poundbury.

To celebrate the anniversary, the rugby club will host a special black-tie event on Saturday, May 28 at its Surcouf Park, where more than 200 guests have been invited to join in the celebrations. The anniversary event will also act as a fundraising event for the club, raising money to make repairs and improvements to the team’s clubhouse and grounds.
